New store hours for Alder & Co.
The title says it all! The newest offering from Lines & Shapes is an exploration in 4 parts: eat, rest, laugh, love. And in that vein, Alder & Co. will be opened Monday - Friday, 11-7, Saturday 11 - 6. We will be closed on Sundays.

Great Night, Great Cause
Alder & Co. is hosting a celebratory evening with special guest Grace Bonney, Founder and Editor of Design Sponge.
Please join us on Tuesday, August 3rd from 5-8 for cocktails and hors d'ouvres. Meet Grace (guest speaker at the 2010 IDSA International Conference, Hilton Portland, 8/4-7), mingle, and shop at our new store.
AND, most importantly, help support p:ear, a local non profit organization that creatively mentors homeless and transitional youth through education, art and recreation. Alder & Co. will donate a percentage of the evening's sales to p:ear. We are also asking our guests to bring art supplies to donate to the kids. Items needed include water-based paints, brushes, craft supplies, crochet and knitting supplies, glues, glitters, markers, papers, sewing supplies, and scissors. Items Not needed are crayons and oil-based paints.
